Mauritius abolishes the antigen test on arrival on its territory for vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers.
This is another step towards a return to normal. After having already largely relaxed the health restrictions on site , the destination is also easing the protocols reserved for travelers. Thus, from now on, vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers are allowed to travel to Mauritius without antigen testing upon arrival.
Neither test nor mask
As a reminder, since February 25, vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers no longer need to carry out a PCR test 72 hours before their departure, nor to carry out a PCR or antigen test during their stay. Travel insurance covering Covid-19 is also no longer mandatory but recommended.
The obligation to wear a mask has also been relaxed since Friday July 1, 2022. However, it will remain compulsory in public places such as public transport, hospitals, the port and the airport.
