Travelers arriving in Cuba may be subject to a random test upon arrival and are encouraged to strictly adhere to the rules established by the Cuban authorities.
The Quai d’Orsay has updated travel advice on Cuba. Since May 30, 2022, passengers can indeed be subject to random screening on arrival. In the event of a positive result, the traveler will be transferred to a sanitary isolation center, as will his contacts, alerts the website of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
All passengers must also complete the form online within 72 hours of their arrival in Cuba. The form can be submitted digitally, but printing it out can save time on arrival.

“In all cases, the traveler is invited to strictly comply with the rules, evolving, enacted by the Cuban health authorities”, underlines the Quai d’Orsay, which recommends keeping up to date with health control protocols by regularly consulting the site of the Embassy of Cuba in France , the Cuban Ministry of Tourism and the Cuban Ministry of Health . »
It should also be noted that all travelers wishing to stay for tourist reasons in Cuba must be in possession of a tourist visa (issued by the Cuban embassy in Paris or by an agency).
