This B2B event dedicated to sustainable tourism will take place over two days in October 2024.
After Le Havre in 2021 with 350 tourism professionals, it is in Bordeaux that the Sustainable Tourism Universities will take place in 2024. This is announced in a joint press release Gironde Tourism, Bordeaux tourism & congress, the New-Aquitaine Regional Tourism Committee (CRTNA).
The event organized by the association Actors of Sustainable Tourism (ATD) provides, over two days, conferences, round tables and workshops for professionals in the sector on responsible tourism. Educational tours will also be scheduled to introduce people to low-impact tourism initiatives in the region.
Heading for Montpellier in 2022
Bordeaux has won the European Capital of Smart Tourism 2022 prize, awarded by the European Commission, also underlines the press release. While waiting for the Gironde, the next Sustainable Tourism Universities will take place in Montpellier on October 6-7, 2022, then in Aix les Bains in 2023.
