The Czech company Kiwi announces an investment of 100 million euros to accelerate its development.
“The capital is coming from a leading global institutional investor,” a statement said, without further details. Kiwi is an online travel agency that combines fares through virtual interlining (or “Virtual Interlining”). In other words, the possibility of easily combining different airlines that do not have interline agreements. The outward journey can be on Easyjet and United, the return on Lufthansa, with a guarantee included in the event of a delayed flight. The company claims, on a daily basis, 50 million searches on its site, and the sale of 70,000 airplane seats.
