Sustainable tourism: Kappa will (again) train agents for free

The Boomerang Voyages brand is renewing its training operation initiated in 2021, designed by Agir pour Un Tourisme Responsable (ATR) and the training organization TravelPro.

Good practices, sales arguments and customer benefits: sustainable tourism still holds parts of mystery for many travel stakeholders. This is why Kappa Club is organizing, like last year , a free distance training around sustainable tourism and dedicated to travel agents.

The training will take place over 3 days (22, 23 and 24 June), with 3 modules of 3h30 and 2h of individual work. “The themes will address the entire professional spectrum of responsible tourism as well as the implementation of sales sketches supervised by professionals and fun workshops”, explains Kappa. Participants will then receive their training certificate during an evening dedicated to Atelier Kappa.

“First come, first served”

The training, entirely financed by Kappa Club and accessible on the principle of “first come, first served”, will be led by Julien Buot (ATR director and general secretary of Actors in Sustainable Tourism), Sylvie Da Silva (director of TravelPro formations), Philippe Sangouard (director of Boomerang voyages) and Virginie Florin (CSR manager of Kappa Club).

The training, followed by nearly 250 travel agents last year, is a way to “better know responsible tourism and better understand the growing demands of customers,” says Virginie Florin
