The association created at the very beginning of the health crisis has renewed its office. Its founder, Fabio Casilli, was not re-elected.
During the election of the administrators of Respire, the tourism of tomorrow , which took place in June, the board of directors of the association was renewed. And the most striking movement is the ousting of Fabio Casilli, the co-founder of Respire, who arrived tenth tied with Nathalie Trichard, and therefore not elected to the board of directors.
“The 9 new administrators unanimously elected Fabio to the rank of Honorary President of the association. Let us remember that it is thanks to the impetus he gave on March 17, 2020 that Respire was born and since then he has initiated many actions for the good of the association. We are certain that he will continue to follow us, to be active and invested in this movement that he initiated,” explains Respire.
“An action plan” soon to be put in place
In a post published on his Facebook page, Fabio Casilli however declined the offer of the new administrators. “I no longer recognize myself in the values advocated by the current association and neither do I want to serve solely as a moral guarantee for those who will come after me”, explains Fabio Casilli. The latter admits leaving Respire “with a very strong bitter taste”. “It’s very hard to accept also because I don’t understand the reasons. »
