The brand has set ambitious goals with more than 220 aparthotels worldwide by 2025.
After two years marked by the pandemic, Adagio is not giving up on its development ambitions. With 122 aparthotels to its credit, the brand born in 2007 from the joint venture between the Accor and Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs groups wants to almost double the number of establishments, to reach some 220 addresses by 2025. Last year, the brand inaugurated 10 new sites, across 5 countries. The brand plans to set up soon in Qatar and Malta, two countries where it is not yet present. In 2023, Adagio still intends to develop internationally, but also in France, with openings planned in Abidjan, Antwerp, London, Rouen, Boulogne-Billancourt and Bucharest.
Franchising, a major focus
To support this development, Adagio relies on three different levers: lease, management or franchise, with franchising being a major area of development according to the group. In 2018, Adagio had 5 franchisees in its portfolio, it now has 18, and specifies that around fifteen franchise openings are planned over the next 3 years.
