EasyHotel inaugurates its hotel at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport

Created in 2004 by Stelios Haji Ioannou, the founder of easyJet, the easyHotel chain, inaugurated its hotel near the Paris airport.

On June 9, 2022, Karim Malak, Chairman and CEO of easyHotel, inaugurated the first easyHotel in the Ile-de-France region, located 5 minutes by car from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. “This new 208-room hotel is already proving to be a valuable asset to our portfolio, with more than 12,000 nights booked since its opening in February,” says Karim Malak. The rooms are marketed from 39 euros.

EasyHotel Paris-Charles de Gaulle-Villepinte was created by Linkcity on behalf of Groupe ADP, which also developed the site. This inauguration precedes those of future projects in France, Paris and the regions with, in particular, the future hotel on the Place du Front Populaire in Aubervilliers, whose opening is announced for 2023. But also in Marseille, in the first half of 2024. In France, the chain already had an establishment in Nice, since 2019.

Well established in the United Kingdom, easyHotel is deploying a massive expansion strategy in continental Europe. In this regard, two countries are particularly attracting the attention of the international hotel chain: Spain and France, indicates the company.

This year, easyHotel’s revenue per room (RevPar) is up 70% in April, 50% in March and 20% in February, compared to the same periods in 2019. Business customers represent a significant share, with 30% of reservations.

Currently, 43 easyHotels are spread across 11 countries. By 2026, the chain intends to double the size of its hotel portfolio with more than 100 destinations. Some 2,400 rooms have been secured internationally to ensure this objective.
