The trendy green and trendy hotel group has signed a partnership with Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for the opening of a hotel in 2023.
Eklo will continue its expansion with the opening of a first Parisian hotel in 2023 at Porte de Versailles. A hotel that will offer 304 rooms, from solo to dormitory, to attract a business and leisure clientele. And which will allow Viparis to “reinforce the attractiveness of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles by expanding its hotel offer”, explains a press release.
The hotel, which will also house a restaurant, a rooftop with a panoramic view of Paris, a bar, meeting rooms and a shared kitchen, will therefore reinforce the hotel offer available in the immediate vicinity of the Parc des Expositions, which for the instant on the Novotel and the Mama Shelter Paris West.
New hotels in Toulouse, Lyon and Roissy
Eklo has a more economical positioning but above all more ecological. Indeed, the building “will respond to high environmental performance”. A series of eco-responsible initiatives will be put in place, as in the other establishments of the group: fight against water, energy or food waste, sorting and recovery of waste. The hotel will also be equipped with a water flow reducer and an energy saver. And “the cooking will be done on site, with local products, and avoiding waste by collaborating with the start-up Too Good To Go”.
Eklo currently operates seven hotels in Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Le Mans, Le Havre, Lille, Marne-La-Vallée, Toulouse (opening in June 2022), before opening hotels in Lyon and Roissy at the end of 2022. The work of Eklo Porte de Versailles will begin this month of April 2022 for an opening to the public at the end of 2023.
